When you join Equinox Dance & Film, you are joining a community built on shared values.
We believe dance should strengthen young people — physically, emotionally, and creatively.
To protect that environment, we ask our families to align with the following principles.

Progress is measured by growth, dedication, and resilience — not comparison with others.
3. We Compete with Perspective
Competitions can be powerful learning experiences.
Our dancers are taught to approach them with maturity, humility, and self-awareness.
Winning is celebrated, but it is never the measure of a dancer’s worth.

We celebrate each other’s progress and achievements.
Generosity of spirit, kindness, and respect are non-negotiable within our community.
5. We Encourage Creativity
Dance is both discipline and art.
Our dancers are encouraged to think creatively, explore expression, and bring their own individuality into their movement.

Punctuality, preparation, commitment, and respect for teachers and peers are part of the training process.
These qualities serve dancers both inside and outside the studio.

Dance can open extraordinary opportunities.
