I wrote a book!!

I can hardly believe I’m saying those words, but I’m so incredibly proud and excited to share that my book, The Last Dance Mum, is about to be released into the world. 💗

Writing this book has been one of the most profound, emotional and unexpectedly magical journeys of my life.
What began as a collection of thoughts journalling, has grown into something far more meaningful than I ever imagined.

It’s a story about so much more than dance. It’s about life, love, the lessons we learn along the way, and ultimately, coming back to ourselves.

I never set out to become an author, but sometimes life takes us in directions we don’t expect, and I’m so grateful I followed this one.

The Last Dance Mum will be available on Amazon Kindle and in paperback from 23 October, and I’m very excited to say that you can pre-order your copy now!

My hope is simply that somewhere within this book, someone finds a little piece of themselves, a new perspective, or something that resonates with their own journey.

Find Your Rhythm is officially out today!

I’m not a songwriter or a musician, but I do have a passion for bringing meaningful messages into the world through dance, art and film.

I wrote the lyrics to Find Your Rhythm from the heart, inspired by everything I believe in and try to share through Equinox, particularly self-love, self-respect and learning to trust your own inner voice.

With the help of AI, I was able to turn those words into an actual song. And I have to say, I’m pretty proud of it! I think it’s a good little song too. 😊

Naturally, there will be some dance and film to bring it to life down the track, but for now, I’m just excited to share the music.

It’s now available on Spotify, iTunes and all major streaming platforms!

What a beautiful way to finish Naf’s journey at the Launceston Festival of Dance! 💗

Last night, Naf was awarded Most Outstanding Song and Dance Performer 🙏🏼

But what made this moment extra special for me was what happened afterwards.

Naf could have shared his exciting news straight away, but instead, he waited until he could video call me and show me his trophies himself.

And there was one trophy in particular he couldn’t wait to show me. The perpetual trophy, which has my name engraved on it from many years ago.

He didn’t want to spoil the surprise.

Naf has been dancing with Equinox Dance & Film for two years now, and watching his growth as a dancer has been such a joy. But moments like this remind me that there’s so much more to dance.

His thoughtfulness, respect and genuine gratitude meant just as much to me as the award itself.

I’ve shared quite a bit of Naf’s journey recently, but I really believe in sharing the authentic little stories that happen naturally, rather than posting just for the sake of it.

And this one was too special not to share.
